At PeterLynn we constantly strive to provide maximum flexibility for our customers, always ensuring that we manufacture using the most cost effective processes.

To this end we are continually improving, updating and adding to our range of presses.

Currently our range includes:

Hot Foil

Hotfoil printing is the most economical of all the printing processes. It is ideal for short runs and specialist work. Perfect for printing metallic foil colours, as well as other standard foil colours. Ideal for warning or hazard labels. Labels can be laminated with either matt or gloss clear polyester for protection against water, chemicals and abrasions. Maximum 2 colours, and plates are required at £25-30 each.

Flexographic printing is used for medium and large volumes of labels. Using high quality inks, we can print quality images in up to 8 colours, as well as varnishing the label for protection against marking and for a high gloss finish. We also have the facility for printing on the reverse side of the material (adhesive) ideal for cooking instructions and serving suggestions. A plate is required for each colour printed @ £35 to £45 each.

Thermal Transfer

Thermal Transfer printing allows the printing of variable information such as price, sell by dates and ingredients. Also ideal for consecutively numbering and bar codes.

Our Xeikon digital press produces superb quality full colour labels on a range of materials. Particularly suited to small runs, across multiple designs. No plate costs and reduced setup required makes digital printing ideal for short to medium runs across multiple sorts. With high quality 1200dpi print you get a premium quality finish and our extra finishing options mean you can add varnishes, laminates as well as spot inks and foiling detail.
